Is there any part about 'request the presence of' or that it will be 'the marriage of'?

edited to add, I'm not sure, but I think that with addresses, the numbers should appear as digits..

also, if you want to be grammatically correct, you will write

two thousand five

also, since nothing is abbreviated, you should write Saint, instead of St.

also, i just looked at some invitations and they did not have the address on the face of the invite, just Whitestone, New York. The direction cards will have exact address. That will help solve the number issue.

On the date, you need a dash between twenty and second.

On the addresses, I don't think you should spell out the numbers.

Also, do you have a lead in above the names. If you don't, I think you need one.

OMG! My invitation said

'Two thousand and four'

that's the way the William Arthur guide said that the year should be written...

most invitations do say two thousand and four but if you want to be grammatically correct, it would just be two thousand four. Most people do not do that so I would not worry.

OMG...I don't think that I actually know for SURE how it's supposed to be...but, here's what mine said:

The honour of your presence is requested
at the marriage of
Susan MIDDLE LAST
and
John MIDDLE LAST
Sunday, the thirtieth of May
Two thousand and four
at two o'clock
Saint Cecilia Church
Englewood, New Jersey

(it was all centered)

I agree, 99% of books have two thousand and four. No one will think twice. I was just letting someone who hasn't made their invites up yet know that it happens to not be grammatically correct.

Funny, that the magazine Exclusively Weddings, that comes with Modern Bride Issue (Fall 2003) has a dozen of invitations that all say two thousand and four but the last one on the back of the magazine says two thousand four.

I think that my only other suggestion would be to remove the Miss and Mr. from you and your FH's names.
