Invitation question

Hi girls

How far in advance did you order your invitations? How far in advance did you mail them out? And lastly, how many extras did you order?

I ordered my invitations a few weeks ago, and they came in a week later. Probably didnt need to do that, as I am not sending them out till around the end of May!!

I am not sure exactly when to mail them out. I was thinking about 10 weeks before the wedding?

I ordered 25 extra. I was told it is more expensive to order extras at some later date so its best to get a bunch just in case.

ordered in nov - recved them 1st week of Dec
sent for callg. 2nd week of dec
stutffed & sealed 3rd week of dec
mailed 12.31

My wedding is 10/01 and I was told to order them sometime in March, so I guess maybe you should orders yours in April....Remember to leave some time for addressing them.

Thanks, I had heard six months before to order them and mail them out about two months before but I wanted to see if that was what people were typically doing... We are hopefully going to start looking this week!!
