I am ordering my invitations online. I have two different ones in mind. One of them does not come with the inner envelope. Is that normal not to have one? The other one does not come with a reception card.....? Thanks girls, I am confused!

Re: Invitation question
Is there an option to order them separate?

I guess I could. Do I really need them?

Re: Invitation question
I didn't do a reception card because we are having reception & ceremony at the same place. We just used 'reception immediately following the ceremony' at the bottom of the invite. The inner envelope is not necessary either, but we ordered them..it's a nice touch.
ETA: Since your reception and ceremony locations are different, I would get reception cards made.

Re: Invitation question
Yes, the invitations without the inner envelope come with reception cards. Could I just write like Mr. John Smith and Guest on the outter envelope? What type of labels should I buy and does anyone know where to buy them?

Yes you could do that with just the outer envelope. You could actually get the addresses printed here . Or you can get calligraphy but that's more expensive. I am not a fan of labels but if you want them, I would go with clear.
Does the company your ordering from have the option for your return address printed on it?

Re: Invitation question
That's strange. I would look somewhere where you can get that all done. You don't want invites that are half done (you're paying good $$ for them). Maybe check out some other sites that have the same design???

IMO, I wouldn't do labels...
See below.. this is from LIW tips..
Don'ts
Labels. A wedding is a very personal occasion and as such each invitation envelope should be addressed by hand. Do not, under any circumstances, use labels to address your envelopes. Hire a calligrapher if you can afford one. If not, perhaps a family member or friend who has a particularly nice handwriting could help you with this task. Wedding envelopes are always addressed in black ink.

Re: Invitation question
Well, that website you gave me is only 39cents per envelope! That is great! The only thing is I won't have an inner envelope. The reason why I am getting these is because they are extremely cheap! I am on a budget....
