Invitation Question

My Wedding is in October, when do I need to order my invitations?

i was told i should order mine in a month, so you probably have a month and a half.

i ordered mine a week ago! it only took one week to get them!!!

I'm in October also and I plan on ordering them in May or June.

You really don't want to order them less than 4 months from your date b/c if they are delayed or there is a mistake that needs to be corrected, there could be a longer turn around time.

So say it takes a month to get them (after everything).

You then have 1 month to have them all addressed and stuffed.

Then you'd be at the 2 month mark - perfect timing for sending them out.

I'm getting married 9/15. I ordered mine a few days ago and am expecting them in next week.

Im ahead of schedule but its good to get them in, make sure theyre correct, send them to a calligrapher, and then make sure thats correct as well. It never hurts to be ahead of schedule.
