Ok... I just got off the phone with my mom and i'm a little aggitated lol. We are having our invitations worded the traditional way with 'mr & mrs brides parents request the honour...' etc..... so... since I just moved I was going to have the responses come to my house instead of my parents house. Is that not correct? I didn't think it was a big deal... and now she has me thinking that its not correct to have the response sent to me if my parents are technically 'inviting' the people.
What do you girls think????????

Re: Invitation question
My parents wanted the same thing. The rsvp's are coming in as we speak and its a lot less stress on my shoulders. One less thing for me to deal with. I call my dad every day asking him if the mail came. HTH!

Re: Invitation question
Technically, they should go to your parents. I'm having my responses sent to them - if for no other reason than it saves an argument and makes my mom happy.
They gave us a good amount of money toward the wedding, but so did FH's parents -- and FH and I are footing most of the bill.
However, we're having the traditional wording (makes us all happy, believe it or not), and we'll have the responses sent to my parents.
Of course, if you live far away or want them sent to you, then go for it - do what works for you.
