When they received the Save the Date, two people called to say they couldn't make it to our wedding. Do I send them an invitation?
Edited to include: They can't make it due to religious observance...

yes, even though you know they can't come, it's still proper to send them an invitation since they recieved a save the date

If its due to religious observance, that will not change. I'd definitely count them as a definite no, but if you have enough invitations, it couldn't hurt to send one. I don't think they'd be offended though if they didn't get one under the circumstances.

No matter their reason for not coming, they should definitely receive an invite. We had a lot of people tell us they couldn't come to the wedding when they got the STD, but most would have been offended to not receive an invite.
