so i decided that i wasn't doing a 'beach theme' but i still like the invitations that have shells on them. do you think it's ok to still go that route? b/c i was thinking that i would still like to put shells on the tables around the cp's
is this ok?

I think it would still be okay. They're your invites...do what you want. I'm not having everything matchy matchy, at least I don't think I am.
But...if you're not having a beach theme...are you having a theme at all...cuz if you're having like a 'stars & moons theme', it might be wierd with the shell invites and shells on the table. lol

no at the reception there will be nothing else that would clash with it. but i think i'm gonna still have some beachy touches just not everything i was going to do. so i think it would fit in.
but with shells on the invites do you think people will be expecting beach stuff all over the RH?

I dont think you need beach stuff all over. They are going to a wedding not a pool party :) You can do whatever you want!

Actually all the invitation places I have been too said that the invitation does not have to match your theme unless you want it to.
