I am getting married in September and planning to send out my invitations in June sometime. I know I can get the direction cards from the church and the reception site. I also wanted to include some suggested hotels in the area. How do I do that? Can I get little cards from the reception site or do I make them up on my own? Thanks

Re: invitation question
Some reception sites will provide them, you just have to call them or email them. If not, you can figure out the best route and either print or have someone print them up for your invites!

Re: invitation question
You can buy plain white preforated business cards from Staples and print on them. I used them for hotel info when I sent the STD. It comes with a template, its very simple

Re: invitation question
Are you reserving a room block at the hotels to get discounted rates? It doesn't cost you anything. If so, the hotels themselves will give you direction cards with all of their info.

Re: invitation question
Does it have to be on the same color/pattern paper as the invites?

Re: invitation question
No I do not have a room block anywhere. I don't have enough guests who require a hotel for that but there are a few who will need a place to stay.

Re: invitation question
Also, can the church give me direction cards as well or do I have to make them myself. Can you see I'm clueless????
