costco.com. They have a wide range of brands and quality -- you can get really cheap or really fancy invites at up to 40% off. And you can make your own online proofs. Highly recommend!

Re: Invitation question

My friend had a horrible experience with Invitations by Dawn...good new was...they never charged her! But she sent them out 4 weeks before the wedding!

After that, I would NOT order online, so I went to a store in the stony brook village The Writing Place...they are AMAZING!!!

Re: Invitation question

I got samples from 'Not from a box' I thought they were very cheap

Tessa's invites are beautiful but she only does flat printing, I want raised.

I went and looked through books at a few places but the best prices I found so far was

www.Abridalpaperie.com

They are located in the industrial park in Plainview so you can go there and see everything, they will design whatever you want and the best thing is printing is done on the premises so you are cutting out all middlemen.

I worked with Judy at A bridal Paperie and she was great. Gave me a great quote and no pressure. I highly recommend them.

Re: Invitation question

FH and I just ordered our invitations yesterday from Jennifer Galletta from Galleria Invitations, Favors and Tuxedos in Farmingdale.

She was so helpful and helped FH and I make decisions that we weren't in agreement on.

Believe it or not, Costco! We got a super deal on them and had them within a week. They were perfect and we didn't spend a fortune (though it looked like we had!).

You may want to go to your local Party City to browse through their books!
