My wedding is November 22, I was wondering when the invites need to be sent out and what the RSVP date should be. Thanks.
They should go out at 8-12 weeks in advance and (I would personally make) the RSVP date 1 month in advance.
I would say send them out end of August/early September with a response date of October 1. I just got mine in the mail today but I am sending mine out early August. We have a very large guest list so I want to see how many no's I have so I can invite more people.
I may be in the minority here but I think it's way too early to send invitations 12 weeks before the wedding. I sent mine out seven weeks before with a repsonse date 3 weeks before the wedding. I think my guests would lose the invitations with the directions etc if I sent them that early. However, we did not have a B list and I also sent save the dates so there was really no need for so much time.
I agree with jennyg. You can send your invites out about 8 weeks before your wedding with an RSVP date of 2-3 weeks before.

I sent mine 6 weeks before my response date and everyone commented on how shocked they were to get it so early. I think 5-6 weeks is more than enough time. There are 2 weeks left before my response date and I still haven't gotten over 1/2 the responses back. Most people wait until the last minute.
