Invitation question-a duh moment for me!

Invitation question-a duh moment for me!

After going over some invitation templates for Invitations by Dawn and David's Bridal, I JUST realized that we have to order the invitations, response cards and reception cards separately; I had assumed that they came together as a set! David's Bridal has a few value sets that include a response card with the invitation, but that still leaves us ordering reception cards. Any recommendations for stationary that includes everything? I probably should have figured this out sooner

Im pretty sure most companies sell everything seperate.... Unless you want to do them yourself (michales and target have alot of box sets)

Are you having your ceremony at the reception venue. If so, you do not need to order reception cards. Just indicate on the bottom of the invitation 'Reception immediately following ceremony'

I was think about putting the church and reception together on the main invite and then only having todo return cards...IDK my budget for invitations are $500 and not a dollar more

Isnt that something! These companies will try and squeeze every penny we have cuz they know we don't just need invitations

after weeks and weeks of ordering samples and pricing out all these companies i found it was only a little bit more money for invites to have them custom done by *her* and that includes all the guest addressing. She is so much fun to work with and the quality is amazing. we also got a lot of extra decorative stuff and the price cant be beat. she works within your budget..

These are my invitations: http://www.invitationstyles.com/elaborate-scrollwork-wedding-invitations-inci043-p-222.html

Invitations were really low on the list of priorities, so going budget and no frills was fine for me. The included the invitations, envelopes, RSVP cards, and RSVP card envelopes. We just printed the addresses on the envelopes...our return address was already included. They came out beautiful, and I was REALLY impressed with them!! Free shipping too!

Good luck!

Most places I have seen have them separted so you have to add up all the costs. I'm going to tackle this after the holidays, I need the invite, the reception card, response card (needs to include transportaion response too) and accomidations card. All I see is

That's a great deal, thank you!

FH's mother also suggested ordering a DIY kit from Amazon for cheap and testing out one pack...for 50 cards/response cards at $7.99 with free shipping.

I think most are seperate unless you buy a DIY kit. Even if you purchase online seperately they will still be cheaper then going to someone directly. We have a low budget for our invitations as well.People look at it then throw it out. If you decide to purchase online, just request a sample to make sure the quality is good.
