Invitation question for people getting married in church and then at catering hall

I am getting married at a church followed by cocktail hour and reception at the catering hall. How do you usually present this information in the invitations you send? Examples would be much appreciated.

Like the other girls said, traditionally the invitation will have the time of the ceremony and there is an insert for the reception. I find the exception to this rule to be when the ceremony and the reception are at the same place, you might see something like 'dinner and dancing to follow' or 'reception to follow in the (name here) room', etc.

The invitation should include the ceremony information time and address, and a separate inser for reception info.
We didn't have a separate insert for reception so we noted at the bottom of the invite, Reception to follow at Fox Hollow with time and address. We then just inserted the direction cards from the hall.

I am not sure if I want to include an insert... I'm afraid people will lose it.

If you don't want to include an insert you could include the address for both the church and reception hall on the invite. I've seen it done like that too.
