invitation question-please help

hey- i hope you girls can help me- ive got 2 invitation questions:

1-about lined envelopes... is the lined one supposed to be the Inner or the Outer envelope?

2- in what order are the following items supposed to go?

Invitation (card, not folder)
Tissue Paper
Reception Card (behind invite or in front?)
Response Card (behind invite? IN its envelope or with just the flap over the card?)
Church Directions
Reception Directions
Inner Envelope
Outer Envelope


and one other question- i have 1 bridesmaid who is not part of my family. our parents arent friends, but am i supposed to invite her parents?

please help !

Lined envelopes are the inner ones.

Tissue paper goes over the printed words of the invite itself.

As for the order of the rest of the stuff, my invites came with directions on how to assemble them, and my DOC put one together. I ignored all the rules and put the stuff in size order with the largest stuff next to the invite (which were the direction cards) instead of the reception card, then I put the reception card. The RSVP card was the top insert when you opened the invite, tucked under the flap of the envelope (not inserted).

As for non-family member BP member - you do not have to invite her parents. If you personally are friendly with them, or if they have done something special for you in the past it would be a nice gesture. We are inviting the best man's parents b/c FH is close with them, and both my BMs parents because I personally am close with them.
