Invitation Question.. yes I know again

Hey ladies,

I wanted to know.. when you're addressing the envelopes to the Mr. & Mrs. of the house with kids.. should it say Mr. & Mrs. John Doe & Family or just Mr. & Mrs. John Doe.

Add the 'and family' if you wish to invite the kids. Although if you are only inviting the kids to, say, the ceremony but not a reception, then it's better to just address it to the parents and then just tell them that it is ok if the kids come to the ceremony or whatever. Otherwise the would assume the kids are invited to everything.

When possible, we put all the names of the kids on the invites (so fun to see a little boy called 'master john doe').
