Invitation question...how much did you spend on them?

And can you show me a picture please? All the ones I requested samples of sucked. THanks!

well, we made our invitations...but we were budgeted based on suggestons I got from mags and books.
They say like 4% of your budget is on Stationary. That's invites, thankyous, programs and postage.
Figure, to stay reasonable, this is a good bracket.

thank yous and invites, we paid 550 - we had them engraved.

we used precious collection. here is the website. i found them to be absolutely WONDERFUL. totally helpful, and fast, too!!

btw. my invites came in - and they were PERFECT!!

I don't have a photo, but we paid a little over $400 for 150 invitations.

I paid $375 for 200 invitations. We had everything excpet for reception card! The website we ordered from had them for 35% off. I almost ordered them from the bridal shop for $100 more! What I did was I went to the bridal shop (the wedding center in commack) and looked through their books of invitations. This way I didn't have to wait for samples to come in. I wrote down the names of the ones I liked and then I found them on this site for 35% off!

I think we paid about $600-$700 our invitations. More than I was originally planning on spending. We got them at Broadway Favors in Massapequa and they were great.

The invitations were by Encore.

I did end up spending more than I wanted but I justed loved these. I spent $900 which includes:
-150 invitation sets (invite, RSVP, map, hotel card)
-postage
- printed guest list to keep track of RSVPs and gifts.
- all invites were completed (assembled, stuffed, postage applied and addressed.

All we had to do was seal the envelopes and mail the. This did save the stress and made it worth the extra $$

We are doing them ourselves and spent a little over $100 for invites, response cards, programs, and place cards for 125...here is a sample of our invite
