Mr. & Mrs. Joseph X Mr. & Mrs. William X request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their children
Corinne Danielle and William Bernard
Friday, the fourth of november two thousand and five at three-thirty in the afternoon St. William the Abbot Seaford, New York
My question: does there need to be an 'and' between both sets of parents or is it ok like this.

Re: Invitation Questions
I think you should put the and. I was just checking rexcraft invitation book and all of the invitations have and between the parents name.

Re: Invitation Questions
I think it sounds better with the 'and' between the two sets of parents.
But I don't know about etiquette very much (I'm breaking all the rules so far...).

Re: Invitation Questions
We did it without the 'and' between the parent names. IMHO I like having DF and my name as the focus. They got their names at the top of the invite. Moreover, 15 lines of text could not fit on the card we wanted. They would have had to shrink the font to something so small it was difficult to read.

Re: Invitation Questions
I agree.. you should see how many lines you have to work with. FH and I really used up all the space on the particular invite we chose...
