I am getting ready to order my invitations and I have a few questions:
How is the year written? Is it Two thousand and one or Two thousand one?
My ceremony is at 5:30 and the cocktail hour is at 7:30. I've read that the ONLY correct way to write the time is 'half after _____ o'clock' I'm fine with that for the invite, but I want to put the time on the reception card and I feel like the 'half after' is a bit much. I wanted them to match, but I don't know if it is ok to use '_____-thirty' for the time? Has anyone else had this problem?

I used 'three thirty in the afternoon' (as if anyone thought it would be in the morning! LOL)and 'two thousand and one'..For the reception card I used 'seven o'clock in the evening'

Not to throw a monkey wrench into what`s already been posted, but for the year, we`ll likely do 'Two thousand one.' As for time, we haven`t decided yet.
