Invitation Questions

Invitation Questions

I don't live with my parents but they are hosting the wedding ...for the RSVP's do you normally have them sent to the person hosting? Or should I have them sent to my house? Also, when should my rsvp date be? I know I'm going to have to chase some people and I want to have enough time so I'm confused what date my rsvp should be? TIA!

i asked for mine to be sent back 6 weeks beforehand because I have a lot of invites going overseas.

I had the RSVPs sent back to me because I'm the one tracking who's coming and who is not. That made my life the easiest. Honestly, I don't think it matters if they are sent back to who's hosting.

Our RSVP date is 6 weeks prior to the wedding.

I had mine sent to me so I don't have to keep checking with anyone else about who's coming. I put the rsvp date as September 1st with my wedding as October 5th

Our RSVP date is about 6 weeks before. It's June 2nd wedding July 11th. We had our RSVP sent back to us so we can track.

FH and I are hosting, but because we are having issues with our mail carrier, we decided it was safest to have them sent to my parents house since it's right by work. I can just swing by and pick up the mail. As for RSVP date, we did ours for about 4.5 weeks before the wedding.

I used my parents address for RSVP. My mom has been so into the wedding so I thought that it would be nice to give her a job haha. She has a whole station set up with highlighters and pens a checklists. It's hysterical. We made our date June 4th and our wedding is June 28th. We we're afraid to put it too close to Memorial Day and have everyone forget to send them. I regret doing it so late and we still need back a lot of rsvps!

I used our address for the RSVP. It's easier for me to track everything. Our wedding is 9/7 and I put August 1st as our RSVP date.

My parents are hosting even though his parents really helped a lot, but I'm having it sent to me. My mom is busier than I am so I rather be the one collecting them. She was okay with that.

My RSVP date is exactly a month before the wedding.
