Invitation - should do with response cards!

Invitation - should do with response cards!

My mom is making me crazy because I did not do this and now she's got me nervous. She suggested that we should have numbered our response cards in case people forget to fill in their names or add return addresses in. I hope that people put their names in!

I was going to do it, but decided not to. It was too much of a PITA. We did this for our eparty RSVPs and no one forgot to put their names in. Don't worry about it Jess

I did it. I numbered 80 of them Small #'s in pencil. Just think if 5 people forget to do it... how will you know? One less stress to deal with for 10 minutes of your time.

Thanks guys, I figure worst case scenerio is I look at the postal office stamp to find out the location & call people who we don't have RSVP's from.

I numbered them, but for the most part people wrote their names... The only situations I had was when multiple family memsber with the same name. Like rsvping 'Mr. and Mrs. O'Toole' or 'Mr. & Mrs. Levine' When I had 7 Mr. & Mrs. O'Tooles invited and 20 Mr. & Mrs. Levines invited.
I wouldnt worry about it!

I did number my response cards- but nobody forgot their name. I did have someone not actully respond- they just sent the card with their name on it. Duh! But I'm still waiting for 4 responses 2 weeks after my RSVP date. I don't think it's totally necessary. I'm just compulsive and needed to do it.

I numbered mine and I am glad that we did. We received a few back with no names.

But, don't stress yourself about it now. If you should receive any back with no names:

1) You should be able to narrow down the pool of exactly who it could be, based on the completed responses you received.

2) You can also narrow it down based on the return address.

3)If there is no return address then you can anrrow it down based on the zip code.

Try not to stress yourself about it. Deal with it, if it comes up.
