Invitation suites $$$

I know I have time to purchase my invitations but I can't help trying to budget everything. While we're not having a huge wedding, I'm finding that almost all the invitations I like are costing so much (once u add in the RSVP and information card, etc.).
Just curious, how much are you paying per invite or per suite (all the extras included)? I'm really finding it hard bc I hate spending so much on something that will be tossed in the trash

I want to say I spent about $4 per invite not including postage. It only contained an RSVP card since I got married at my venue and I just used the direction cards that my venue provided to save $.

The pricing really depends on what you pick & the quantity. If you want lace or pocket folds etc, that will be more $.If your DIY, it will be cheaper.

I got custom made layered shimmer cards and RSVP cards for about $3.50-$4 each. I used the directional card from my hall and printed my own church directional & hotel information cards on the same type of paper. I also added 2 Swarovski crystals myself.

I also had a small wedding and the less invitations you order the more it is per price. I suggest you look on Etsy.

I made my own pocketfolds and bought my suite from the etsy seller hesawsparks... she made an amazing pdf file for me and helped me order the right size and right color pocketfolds so it all matches. After the cost of the pdf, envelopes, paper, and glue dots it was $2.71 per invite. With the RSVP stamp and the 66c stamp on the outside it comes to $3.82 each.

I was able to print EVERYTHING at the college I am getting my grad degree at, so that really helped to lower the cost, and my FMIL has a really good paper cutter. If you are able to print on a laser printer for free somewhere I would definitely suggest doing this

Yea I think etsy may be the best way to go. I was looking on minted and wedding paper divas, magnetstreet, etc. I thought those would be cheaper than going to an invitation place or using a person but they still came out to be like 7-8 per suite. I dunno, I guess it's just more than I was expecting.

I got custom layered invites & RSVP cards with a belly band and layered monogram. It came to about $4 per invite. Don't forget to budget for postage too (usually at least 66 cents plus the stamp for the RSVP). Also if you want the envelopes addressed, that costs extra.

Mine were just under $10 apiece, completely custom....double layer, shimmer cardstock with a pocket on the back, rsvp card/envelope w/ address, accommodation card, printed return address and 4 swarovski crystals. That doesn't include addressing the envelopes.

Lol I bought all my cardstock with coupons at michaels and I made the pocketfolds using an online tutorial

I didn't need all the extras, just invite, RSVP card and envelopes and I spent about $2 and change per set. Check out Etsy shop DesignedWithAmore. I had her do the printing for me on shimmer white card stock which looked gorgeous. Pic in my albums. She also does PDF files where you can take care of the printing yourself.

I ordered my invites from the Manuf. myself. Had to do a little wording and designing but I saved over $400 as opposed to an invitation place ordering the same ones for. They were the pocket invites with RSVP and Reception cards and a fancy envelope. I added ribbon around the pocket and our monogram tab on the outside along with Swarovski studs on the inside and the monogram. Everyone couldn't believe I added the little touches myself.

Hmmm. This is a great idea. I have no clue to go about this though... Can u fm or lemme know what manufacturer you went thru and how?
