INVITATION 'TIME' QUESTION

INVITATION 'TIME' QUESTION

We have the chapel available for 30 minutes. From 12:30pm to 1pm

So the ceremony is starting at 12:30pm. That would include the seating down of the guests, etc. The actual ceremony/vows with the reverend is going to be about 12-15 minutes.

Should I put 12:30pm on my invitations? Or should I put 12 or 12:15pm? I don't want people camping outside the chapel (it's in August) before they are instructed to get in. But I don't want 'late' guests either.

FYI: I only have about 30 guests.

What time should be best to write on the invitations?

TIA

I would write 12:15- gives the late-comers 15 minutes to get there and not miss the ceremony. Just make sure you're running on time too

agreed on 12:15. this will allow more time for your ceremony if needed or will allow people who show up late time to get situated.

our ceremony starts at 11:15 a.m. --- we put 11 a.m. on the invites. 15 min. should be enuff time!

I think you should just put 12:30 down. Most guests are early, especially if they are coming from far away

I agree. I sound like a broken record, but it's there responsibility to get there on time, not yours.

Re: INVITATION 'TIME' QUESTION

I voted for 12:15.

My ceremony will begin at 1... by I'm putting 'twelve forty-five' so that I can allow for late-comers... plus, we're having a string trio that will be playing from 12:30, so they'll have musical entertainment while they're waiting.
