Invitation Timeframe

I made the reply date exactly 1 month before the wedding date. I am sending mine this weekend and I am getting married on March 17th. I have usually heard 2 months before you send them out. I would rather be a little earlier than a little later. This way if you get some earlier 'regrets' you can extend some more invites if that is in your plan.
