invitation vendor problem

I had a frustrating experience with an invitation vendor that I may have recommended on the boards before, so I thought I'd post a warning.

The Snow and Graham company does adorable designs but is very difficult to deal with. The bottom line is that they do not return phone calls. At all. I left four messages that went completely unanswered and unacknowledged. The unprofessionalism they've shown doesn't exactly make me confident in their ability to finish the invites on time!

Anyway, it was a huge disappointment because they did a great job with my save the date cards. I'll be looking elsewhere for invitations this weekend.

I considered using them for my save the dates, and I heard this about them before. Sorry you had a bad experience.

honesty is a good thing, but harshness is not

I agree with Lori, honesty rocks, however, some people can be a bit harsh to fellow brides when it comes to negative reviews.

Thanks for an honest review of your experience with them. I personally don't see anything wrong with your post. It was objective, stated facts about your experience, and even complimented them to some extent. Nothing inflamatory there.

Please don't let ' a few bad apples' spoil this board for the rest of us. We need to hear the good and the bad. Don't be intimidated by those who can't handle a liitle criticism!

I agree with Wendypoo....I think your post was very well stated. It was tactful and realistic. Why would some people be so offended by a straightforward opinion. I appreciate it . I personally was so shocked by the quote i received by my first florist, that when I read that others on this board were so frustrated with the place....it made me feel better not even considering him.

I appreciate all of your thoughts. Obviously, I don't mean to offend anyone. I just don' t want anyone to go through the same frustration I did. Everyone has different experiences -- I've seen wildly different opinions about many vendors on this board, and I appreciate the mix of views. This diversity of ideas has really helped me to make my own decisions about my wedding.

I also appreciate your warnings -- I know that many people are upset by negative reviews. Also, I'm sure there are people out there who have had excellent experiences with S&G.

It's really none of my business whether anyone else decides to use this vendor or not, so I changed the wording of the original post. Besides, maybe they'll answer someone else's phone calls!
