Yesterday, my FH and I went to a vendor to look at invitations. The vendor was very nice but she works alone out of her house. There were a few other couples there besides us. We had to wait to be helped (which is okay) for awhile but felt that we didn't get any personalized attention since she was running around trying to help three people at once. Plus, since it was her house, she had her family there and they were playing this really loud techno music which was annoying. Not a very good way to run a business.

Re: Invitation Vent
I will you tell you the first person I met with about invites worked from home and I was disgusted by what a hell hole her place was and her kid was running around the entire time, pretending to shoot me or climbing over the chairs I was sitting on.
ETS: And I had won a $25 gift certificate at a bridal showcase for the first person but it was not worth the $25 to deal with her.
I ended up buying my invites from someone else who works from her home and she was great and I have absolutely no complaints!

No, it's not a good way to run a business. Sounds like you shold continue to look for someone who will give you the attention you need. It may also be helpful to the person you saw if you gently told her why you've decided to take your business elsewhere. Not that you owe her anything, but she may appreciate it.
