invitations just went out on Thur and I'm already getting negative feedback! Since FH & I are on a limited budget and could only fit so many people on our list, we only invited people w/ a guest if they have a significant other...
I wake up this morning to a FB message from FH's cousins asking why shes wasnt invited with a guest to the wedding...

People get really annoyed and upset when they aren't invited with a guest. Maybe you can explain and hopefully they will understand.

uuugghhhhhh......SO ANNOYING!! People don't understand what it takes to have a wedding. That was rude but at least you didn't get the response card back with 2 people coming instead of the one you invited. That has happened to me TWICE now!!!

Im sorry ppl can be so rude! I have the same situtaion so i told my cousin that its just to expensive and we have to big of a family but if we get enough 'nos' then she can bring a date.. Good luck n dont let it get u down!

Girl let me tell you that this is just the begining. We invited no guests unless engaged or married AND no children...you don't even want to know the reaction of people.
It pissed me off at first but now I just think to myself, these people arent obligated to come if they show great if not the day will go on. Its already stressful without people adding to it. Good Luck!

I'm getting a lot of heat for the 'Adult Reception'
I get constant phone calls asking....I can't my bring my kids????? are you serious???? to call me and asking that???

OH no. These are all the things stressing me out right now!! Do I just invite the four or five people that i'm on the fence about with a guest and see if they don't bring one?? We are also doing Adult Reception on the RSVP card - just waiting to see how that goes over.
