What is the difference between Honor and Honour, favor and favour is one more formal then the other and if you use one should you match it with the other or does it really matter

I didnt know about this either but I went with favour and honour cuz thats how all the samples I saw had it

honour & favour are the proper enlish way to write out the words, I think it looks alittle more formal, therefore that is what I used, but whichever spelling you use is correct.

It is more formal to use honour and favour. I just think it looks so elegant on a formal invitation.
