INVITATION WORDING??!?!?

Help Please!

MY FH wants to practice some invites tonight at home....but I have no idea what to write!


Does anyone have a good website with the correct format for writing invitations where the bride's parents are inviting?

No, I think you can do the spacing however you want (I fixed the spacing on my post b/c I didn't have it correct the first time). Our invites are square, and the actual indentation isn't like I have above, just the lines. If I can figre out how to whiteout our last names from our electronic proof, I'll post it so you have an idea what the spacing looks like.

Our reception is at 7 pm so we have a separate reception card. Figuring out the wording for that card was the most difficult part for me.

ETA: Picture. This is our electronic proof. It's a two layer invite, so that's why there is an outer square and inner square. I have the actual paper invite proof but I don't think it would photograph well.

We have a reception card and a response/RSVP card. You don't want to put it on the RSVP card b/c people send that back to you, then they wouldn't have the reception info.

You could also put it on the invite if you like, although it didn't fit or look right with our design.

well i bought the invites from ACMoore that comes with invites, and response cards.

So, basically I should add the reception info at the bottom of the invite ?

If you don't have an extra card for the reception then I would add the reception info to the bottom of the invite.

Thanks for keeping me occupied tonight, FH is playing video games and hasn't gotten to a spot where he can save it, so I'm here on the computer waiting...BOYS!

My FH loved that....he wants to know which game he is playing!!!!!!!???????

(FH laughed when I read him this...because he lies to me about passing spots in the game where he can save but he doesn't tell me)



By the way, FH asked me if he could play VGames tonight... I told him no because we are doing invites!!!!
