when i was looking for different wordings i went to jean m's webiste and played around with different invitations to find one that i liked and then used that one for my invites. www.myjeanm.com

we wanted to include our parents somehow even though we are paying ourselves so we put

We, together with the blessing of our parents
request the honour of your presence as we excenage our wedding vows

You can leave out the 'together with their parents'' line.
