Our ceremony is at the reception site, the coctail hour and reception are immediately following the ceremony
We are not doing a reception card What wording do I use in the invitation to indicate the reception is right away
My first stab at it has 'Reception immediately following' but it just doesn't sound right

Re: invitation wording
I think that sounds fine. I recently got an invitation and it said just that

Re: invitation wording
To bring across my point effectively about not having kids mine will say:
Adult Reception immediately following ceremony

Re: invitation wording
Mine will say 'reception to follow' only. I had immediately in there, too but took it out, but i don't think either way is wrong. I think people pretty much know that if you're getting married at a reception type place rather than a church that the reception will be right after.

Re: invitation wording
The girl who designed my invites put 'Reception Immediately Follows' on the bottom

Re: invitation wording
When I get my sample I will let you know what it says. I cant even remember! But the ceremony is at the same place as the reception. So I will get back to you on this one.
