I'm craeting DIY yourself inviations and after printing them all out I think I screwed up
Here is my wording:
Mr. & Mrs. John Doe request the honour of your presence at the marriage of his daughter
Jane Marie Doe to John Michael Doe
son of Mrs. Jean Doe
*etc*
Here's my problem...Am I not suppose to include my & FH last names because our parents are listed with our last names? Should it just be our first and middle name?
So frustrating and I'm mad that I didn't catch this before I printed 250.
Thank you.

It should be THEIR daughter - not his. That's the only problem I see. I'm not 100% sure of the last name thing though...

Re: Invitation Wording
I didn't use last names it is unnecessary since the parents last names are shown

Re: Invitation Wording
we didn't put our last names on it since it is already stated in our invite.

Re: Invitation Wording
I wouldn't have put the last names, but it's probably not a huge deal. It should also be 'their' daughter.

Re: Invitation Wording
I don;t think the last name thing is a big deal - it probably shouldn't be there, but it's not huge.
And, regarding the 'his daughter' or 'their' -- maybe she has a stepmom and 'his' is correct??

Re: Invitation Wording
I think it can go either way to put your last names or not. I probably wouldn't have if both me and FH had the same last name as our parents, but it's still ok! Don't worry!

Re: Invitation Wording
If the parents last names are on there than you don't need to include it with your names but it isn't that big of a deal. I think it will be fine. I believe you probably put 'his' because your dad is remarried... if not then yes 'his' should be 'their'.

Re: Invitation Wording
Most invites dont include the last name. I do NOT think it is a big deal. My bet is it is not something anybody would take notice. I would keep printing if I were you, no worries!
