We have:
Today two lives
become one
written by vows
spoken with love
MY NAME
HIS NAME
invite you to share in their hapiness
on............

We did not put our parents names. We are paying for the wedding ourselves (my parents gave $$ using for HM)

They didn't feel it was necessary. If they would have wanted it we would have included them.

Re: Invitation Wording

We paid for the wedding ourselves - 100% but out of respect (and obligation) we had put our parents names so we did something like this - not exactly but in this order:

BRIDE'S PARENTS
and
GROOM'S PARENTS
invite you to share in the joy, as their children
BRIDE
and
GROOM
exchange marriage vows and begin their new life together
on DAY
YEAR
at TIME
LOCATION
ADDRESS
CITY, STATE

We had a square invite so we wanted our names in larger font and in the middle of the invite so we did it this way....

Re: Invitation Wording

We have a similar situation we are paying for a big bulk of the wedding but his parents, his grandfather and my parents have helped us out with a few thing so we are writing:

Bride's name
&
Groom's name
along with our families
