Invitation wording

For the ladies who are getting married at the RH, are you ladies just putting the date, time and place? or are you putting all of that plus reception to follow?, cocktail hour to immediately follow?.
My best friend got married last year and just put what time the ceremony started.....can u ladies tell me what your doing?

We put the date, time (for ceremony) and place of the venue, with 'reception to immediately follow' under that.

At the bottom we put 'Formal reception to follow'

Re: Invitation wording

we just put the date and time and location.

So far we only got like 2 phone calls from stupid people asking WHERE ther reception was.

So if you are unsure, you can put 'reception to immedfiatly follow' (or however that wording is).

I just thought that people would know if there is no reception card, and no mention of a second venue, that it was understood the reception was in the same place.

So that has been my experience with 20 days to go.

We decided to go with 'with reception to immediately follow'.

We didn't put anything except date and place. I think my guests are smart enough to know (I hope).

Originally I just had the date, timee and place and then my mother asked if I should put reception to follow. I said no I think people will realize it's in the the same place. Just double checking.

Thank You!
