Haha. I originally ordered invitations and ONLY put my mom's name on it because she is the only person helping pay for it(my dad passed away a few years ago). But, after reading everyone's posts on here I feel like i DEF. need to add my FH parents names. They are divorced....what is the proper way to add them in? And, his dad is remarried.
Thanks guys!!!

Yup. I goggled it, but I am not sure which one to use. There are two.
1. Together with their families.... OR
2. Mrs. Linda Smith requests the honor of your presence at the marriage of her daugher XXXX...to XXXXXX SON OF THE XXXXXX family....
I don't know which to use...Yikes

I did together with their families this way no ones feelings get hurt and no on can complain that you didn't do it correctly.

I would do 'together with their families.' It's the easiest so no ones feelings are hurt.

I would only do together with our families if both family's are contributing to the wedding! I would put your mothers name first if she's paying for the wedding & then put son of and both of his parents names.

Thanks everyone! I decided to go along with 'together with our families' so that no ones feelings are hurt. Because my father is deceased. My FH mother and father are divorced, and his dad is remarried. FH step mother is more excited about us getting married then his real mother, and is also contributing more. So, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings...i feel like that was the best option

I think that is a great choice, otherwise the wording would be tricky
