So my invites need to be worded differently than the standard and i need some help!!! We are basically having a private ceremony in the chapel of our church (which will seat only direct family and BP; 20-30 people MAX) so the invite is more of a 'come to our reception' type of deal. So there is no insert for the reception but will probably have an insert just for those invited to the chapel.
What can I substitute for the regular format?

Hmm I think you could still use a pretty standard format.
'Together with our families we invite you to celebrate the marriage of Jane & John Smith.'

I suppose I could... I just feel like that implies that they'd be witnessing the marriage ceremony and they wont be. I was trying to see if there was another option but maybe that's why im having a hard time coming up with an alternative.
We will be married in a private wedding ceremony on Saturday, the fourth of October two thousand fourteen Please celebrate with us at our reception following the ceremony at six o'clock Harbor view Golf Club 8710 Harbor view Club Drive Hilliard, Ohio
