Invitation wording help

Tonight I decided to make a word document of every ones addresses so that my brother can cut, copy and paste them onto the envelopes with my pretty looking fonts.....Any ways, I'm having some trouble with some of the envelope wording. I am inviting guests with children...so on the outside of the envelope do I invite the parents as Mr. and Mrs ? and childs names? And the same for single people with guests....do I state it Mr. Steve? and Guest? I hope this makes sense....thanks so much for your help

Re: Invitation wording help

we adressed the outside envelopes to either
Mr. & Mrs. X
The X Family
Mr. X

and if it was a single person invited with guest we put on the inner envelope 'MR. X and guest'

hope this helps...

for people who we invited with children, we just wrote 'The Smith Family' we didnt have any rsvp nightmare's or anything either. like people rsvp'ing for a family of like 12, lol.
and for people with guests we did 'mr. john smith & guest'

Re: Invitation wording help

if you have inner envelopes as well then you write the persons name with guest, if only outer envelopes then write the persons name and guest on their, for parents with children i would either write The smith family OR mr & mrs smith and family
