Invitation Wording Help

I'm choosing the wording for my invitations and need opinions. I'm choosing this saying 'Because you have shared in our lives with your friendship and love, together with our parents, we -------- and ------ invite you to.....'

I was told to take the WE, out and just continue with our names on the next line.

Should we keep the WE or not, what do you think?

We did:

Together with their families

_____ and ______ request the honour of your presence


So i guess you dont need the we... but you might have to take out the 'OUR' cause you would have to change the wording but I think cause you are writing it from you the we should be there
