Invitation wording question
Fi's parents are paying for reception. We are having a Nuptial Mass. I have read the correct wording of a Nuptial Mass is:
The honour of your presence is requested at the Nuptial Mass of Mary Smith AND Joe Brown. The and is because a nuptial mass is supposed to be the uniting of two people, Mary and Joe. Initially, I was going to put FI's parents names on the but if you put their names on the invite it does not sound correct to me with the AND part . Would it be so rude to put

on the reception card???
