Invitation wording question

my FH wants to acknowledge the parents names on the invitation (as opposed to 'together with their parents).

How should we word it to acknowlege their names an dshow that we are hosting?

Also, my father is deceased.....should I put 'the late.....'

Edited to add: This is the response from the email:
On paper we allow up to two rounds of proofs, however, as long a it is kept under control and the edits are not excessive we will allow about four rounds. After that you may be charged $15 per round.

Re: Invitation wording question

I would suggest something like this:

Bride's name, daughter of
the late Mr. John Doe and Mrs. Jane Doe
and
Groom's name, son of
Mr. and Mrs. William Smith
invite you to their wedding....

Re: Invitation wording question

All the info I read about invites & wording state that you should not mention your deceased father on the invite (my mom is passed as well).
Basically the invite states the names of those hosting the party.
You can list :
Bride & Groom, together with their parents,
Mrs. MOB and Mr. & Mrs. (Groom's parents)
invite you to celebrate etc. etc.

Re: Invitation wording question

we just went thru the same thing.. we finally decided on something similar to the above post just we started it with

Together with their parents,
Bride's name
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Doe
and
Groom's name
son of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith

request the honour of your presence and so on..

Re: Invitation wording question

From what I am reading, you do not list the deceased parent as a Host of the wedding but you can name them as the 'daughter of the late ____.'
