Invitation Wording Question

I have no clue what the protocol is for invitations.

1. Do I spell out Saint or write 'St.' for the church name on the invite? I've seen it both ways.

2. Does the first letter of each line get capitalized? If not is there a rule of thumb as to what gets capitalized?

On ours we put St. Patrick's and did not spell out the St. We also did not capitalize the beginning of each line. I don't know if this is the 'rule' but this is how the invitation designer created them and I didn't question it. HTH
