invitation wording updated

invitation wording updated

I am ordering my invitations this week and I am not sure how you put the address. for example I would have

Mr. and Mrs. -----
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Katie
to
Patrick
on Saturday blah blah
two thousand and five
at elven thirty
Chateau La Mer
845 South Wellwood Avenue
Lindenhurst, New York

or should I leave out the exact address???

Oh and another question....Did you put a return address on the outer envelope??? and should I use my address in VA or my parents in NY (we are sending the responses to NY)

hmmm....

I think that I would add the address for a church but prob. not for a ceremony at the reception hall...

IMO No Address. Just city & state. Address will be on directions cards.

I left out the address on mine. It read
Land's End
Sayville, New York

The direction cards have the address.

I agree & I think the outside return address should be wherever the response cards are going especially since the invitation is worded as if coming from your parents.
