Invitation wording...BUMP 4 Update

Not what you would think...

I received an invitation to my friends wedding (This girl I spent the past 2 yrs with in grad school)

Now, she knows I'm engaged... seen the ring... we've talked endlessly about our fh's to one another...

Now, I get the invitation and the inside envelope only has my name on it, but there is a space on the response card that says # attending _____
Am I to assume that FH is/isnt invited??? Should I ask her??? I feel kinda stupid... I dont want to send her back '2 attending' if she didnt want that, but I sit here scratchin my head wondering why she didnt at least put Guest....

Any suggestions???

UPDATE:::: So I asked her and she said 'ahhhh so it was youu!!!!' she knew she forgot to put 'and guest' on someone's, but couldnt rem who and was like of course you're both invited!!!!' I knew she wasnt rude like that... Haha

Since she only put your name and not 'and guest' I'd think she only intended on inviting you, but if you have a relationship with her where you can ask her without feeling awkward, then I'd say ask her if FH is invited also.

If it has only your name on it then im pretty sure she only invited you (which i think is rude since she knows you're engaged) if you talk you can ask her.

I would ask her because that is messed up if she didnt invite FH .. However I wouldnt just put 2 attending because I have seen brides in BHB complain about huests doing that ,,HTH

yeah definitely ask her... if you talk to each other about it all the time, then you should definitely ask her about it. Maybe it was an accident?

Honestly, what I think happened is that she doesnt know proper etiquette (shes not big into all the wedding details... she got engaged in may about 1 week after me and is getting married this sept) so she prob just never thought that she had to specify ...we'll see... i'm gonna ask he 2morrow

I know... I'm nervous planning a wedding in almost 2 years, I cant imagine 3 1/2 months. I would probably pull my hair out by the end of it all

Well kind of similiar situation... I believe he has a student visa, but just graduated so I think she needs to rush everything so she can stay in the country.. I could be wrong, but it has something to do with that! You do what you have to do right?!?!

I dont quite get it either, but I do believe her... She knows I would not know anyone else at her wedding. Maybe she was just in a rush when doing the invites or had a million things on her mind... I could see that when you're planning a wedding in 3 months
