invitation/calligraphy question

invitation/calligraphy question

When you have your envelopes done by the calligrapher, do most of you just get the outside envelope done and then the inner that says 'Mr. Smith and Guest'? Or do you just do the outside envelope?

Also, who puts the address on the RSVP envelope? Is that something automatically done when you order the invites? Or is that something you are supposed to take care of yourself?

I had both my envelopes done. I used inkspun, because they were cheap and I needed it done fast.

The RSVP envelope is usually printed when you order your invitiations, along with the return address on your outer envelopes.

Re: invitation/calligraphy question

This is what I did.
Outer
Mr. Kevin Smith
Inner:
Mr. Kevin Smith and Guest

Or

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Smith
with no inner unless they had children then I reiterated Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Smith on an inner envelope(since we are not having children at the wedding)

As for the address on the RSVP the invites were ordered with the address and were printed by the company.
