Invitationns went out

So this morning I decided to pick them up from my mother's house and just send them out....as I was going through them I realized that some were sticking together!!! Because we sealed them and than put them back in the box, some were stuck and pealing off the addresses it was stuck to!!!! I had heart failure!!!! Luckily it was only a few and I am going to call my girl and have her overnight me the new envelopes...THAN I go to the post office and hand cancel them, the woman was very nice, let me do it on my own said I could put it anywhere on the evelope that i wanted...leaving out that it had to touch the stamp and I know NOTHING about hand canceling....so a majority do and some don't!!!! She said she thought I knew I DIDN'T KNOW! I said do I do it again, she said it is up to me, they should be fine and I was so frustrated I just said leave them...I am leaving it to a higher power at this point.. Ok just had to share my frustrations this morning...but at least they are out :)

aww. Don't worry I had the same issue with my envelopes sticking together except my DH was mailing them and only told me after he had sent them out. Of course those invites came back to me but I learned not to let it stress me there were so many other things that still had to be done and it will all work out in the end. Good luck!

Yea that is what I was telling myself on the drive to work, it really isn't a big deal I can get more printed out no worries, lol

don't worry!!! i saw some of my invite envelopes at family members houses and some of the hand canceling stamps were no where near the postage stamp (and the PO did them!)

how exciting that your invites are out!!!!!!!
