How far in advance should I order, if I want responses back 6 weeks (is this a good amount of time) before the wedding- 10/17/04, when should I mail them out? Thanks...

I just ordered mine a few days ago. I think six weeks before is fine, that is what i'm going to do. You should mail them out 4-5 weeks before the rsvp date.

really depends on how long they take to be printed. surprisingly mine only took about a week.
remember to allow time to address the envelopes, number the back of the response card (correspond w/ guest list) buy stamps, assemble and stuff.
