How far in advance do you order invitations?

it really depends on you...I am getting married in November & starting looking this past Jan...I found the ones I wanted in Jan & just ordered them 2 weeks ago. Some people order them this early & others order them 4 months before. I just ordered mine now to make sure I had enougth time for calligraphy.

don't wait too long - I kept putting it off because I thought details might change. I am now SCRAMBLING to get them out at the 8 week mark - April 11th. Consider shipping, getting envelopes done, stuffing - all these things take time.

Im getting married in September. I ordered my invitations in December and got them in Febraury (I think). We started stuffing them on Easter and my sister is now addressing them. Hopefully they will be mailed my the end of June.

I still haven't ordered mine. We had problems finding a place that gave a good discount on the ones we really like. We finally found them, but now we keep going back and forth about wording. We need to move it though because by the time they get it, it will take a while for them to get addressed.

I am getting married 5 months from today. It took about 1 month for my invites to come in, and I dropped them off at the calligrapher about 2 weeks ago.
