Invitations

How far in advance do you order invitations. I'm getting married June 2007 and I already found my invitations, but obviously wedding until later to order, but wondering how many months before do you usually order them?

I think about 4-6 months...we are going to start looking maybe in December/January..we are getting married July 06

I ordered mine in April for my November wedding. they only took 2 weeks to come in (from www.now-and-forever.com).

that was still a little early to order invites, but I was afraid they would be discontinued or something.

IMO, you should definitely wait until 6-8 month before. I have seen many brides to be on LIW who changed timing around for the ceremony and or reception.

thanks ladies...yeah I'm definately going to wait...I probably won't order them until next fall..another year.
