I know it's a long one, but the navigation here is a little confusing. The name is uptown downtown shopping - I found the best prices here hands down. What I did is looked around online until I found what I thought I was leaning toward. Then I looked these in a local store to see them in person, and ask a few questions, etc. Once I had the decision made I shopped around online for that mfgr and SKU and I couldn't do any better than this place. My invites came out to around 300.00 for 150 with extra envelopes and thank yous. You can spend a lot more depending upon what you end up with, but this place is easily 35% off list.

Re: Invitations??
I am ordering mine from indianweddingcard.com. I am not Indian, but their cards were amazing, beautiful and CHEAP. I have heard really good things about them and when I ordered samples they got to me in 5 days. The cards were unusal and the quality was great. The card that I chose ended up being $57.50 for 75 plus $30 for priniting. There is another I think $50 for rsvp's and if I want they will hand calligraphy my invites for $.50 each.

Re: Invitations??
Great site you suggested. I'm not Indian either, but they are gorgeous invitations. Do you know what the quality of their paper is, I'm looking for something heavy?

Re: Invitations??
I paid around a little less than $800 for mine. More than most pay, but they were silk scrolls and totally worth it to me.

I used their cards! They were absolutely beautiful. The quality was great. Had no language barriers. I got a TON of compliments on my card.

I just got my invites this weekend. I got mine early. But I saw them, fell in love with them and that ended that. I spent $1300 for 100 invitations, and response cards. They are Encore, so they quality is amazing.

We're having them custom made by CreativeMontage.com - pocketfolds that will cost approximately $6.50 each.

Re: Invitations??
I had mine custom made. They were a knock off of Jean M's 'Casey.' I spent $330 on 125 invitations, including computer calligraphy for all of the addresses.
