INVITATIONS.. 3 questions

1) How far in advance did you/will you order?

2) How much (if you dont mind me asking) did your/will your invitations cost

3) From where did you order?

Re: INVITATIONS.. 3 questions

Good Morning!

I am getting married in Sept. 07and I ordered mine in Dec.06 --I would say 12-9 months ahead of time.

I ordered from Tammy at Sincerely Yours-she works out of her home and has beautiful things....she has everything you could ever want!

We spent around $1200 on ours~

We're getting married on 10/13/07 and ordered them 12/06.

We paid approx $400.00 and got them from Knot to Be Forgotten.

I ordered mine at the end of December so that's about 5 1/2 months in advance. You really don't need to order them that early though. I already have them and I'm not planning on sending them out until April.

We spent under $400 for 150 and we ordered from invitationsbydawn.com.

Re: INVITATIONS.. 3 questions

I just ordered invitations a week ago for my April wedding. We spent ~$900. And we ordered from Stephita Invitations .
It depends on what you want for invites. Standard invitations don't take too long to print. Some companies that do custom designs need more time and can't take orders too close to the wedding date. Another vendor I looked at told me in December that they were booked through June. So it all depends on what you need. I started looking at invitations about six months ago but I stopped when I got distracted by stupid work stuff and BM issues. Otherwise, I probably would have ordered earlier.

My wedding is March 24th.

I ordered my invites on Jan. 29th

They came 2 weeks later, on Friday (1/12)

I paid about $350 for 150 beautiful invitations (I have a picture in my album)

I ordered them online at www.exclusivelyweddings.com.

When they came, I wasn't happy with how small the font was - even though it was exactly what I ordered. They were so cool about it - I mailed the invites back, and they are reprinting free of charge.

I was able to keep the envelopes so my calligrapher can still do her part and get them in the mail by 1/24

I DIY'ed mine. Most of the supplies I got in October. I just sent them out last week. I spent less than $175 for 75 invites.
