Invitations....

have been mailed!!!!!

Hand cancelled at the Centereach Post Office. They are soooo nice there! Huge relief because I hated stuffing those suckers!

Thank you!!! There are some I couldn't send out yet because I'm waiting for a few more envelopes. Those will go out next week but that's only 8 more. Yay!!!

Thanks...I'm not too far from there so I may take the trip. The post office by me tends to be a little grumpy.

AWESOME! I remember putting on my 'PRETTY PLEASE' girly face in our post office for them to let me hand cancel them! Its not long now!!!

I didn't know what it was either until I asked someone. Basically, instead of the post office running the invites through the machine to cancel the postage, you stamp them yourself manually with a rubber stamp and ink. This way, you know they are ready to be mailed and less chance of them getting damaged when going through the machine.
