Ok girls help me out... since i know we are all out to help one another unlike some vendors in the world. i went to meet with someone to look at invitations. They were so pricey. 500.00 i am looking to save money any way i can. the lady kept saying the invitation sets the mood, it tells people what kind of wedding it is. The invitation determines the amount of money one will be putting inside. Is this true? i dont want to go all out on invites. People just throw them away. Theme of wedding is cinderella and castles are my center pieces if you look at my album. then i have carriages around the table for place card holders. Any ideas. Would it be cheezy to make my own.

Re: invitations
I think all invitations should be nice and classy, but clearly shes convincing you to buy form her...invitations dont 'set the mood' you could have okay looking invitations but a fantastic wedding, and i doubt no one will remember and start talking about ur sucky invitations... if you cant go all out on them and would like to splurge ur money on other areas dont worry about it.
I have friends that spend 1,000k on invites and friends that spent 300$ .... and i dont think ive judged their wedding day based on that..
JMO, good luck w/ everything...

Re: invitations
God no!!! Let me ask you something? Do you have all the invitations saved from all the weddings you went to or are they filed under 'T' for trash? Exactly.
Here are some websites and you can preview your card before you order it.
INVITATIONS (I bought my first set of invites from here but changed venues so I have to order them again. They came out beautiful)
